Elizabeth Elliott
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Specializing in Comprehensive Mental Health Care
With 18 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in the treatment of adults throughout the lifespan, I am deeply passionate about delivering comprehensive mental health care. My name is Elizabeth Elliott and throughout my career as a PMHNP I have prioritized building authentic therapeutic relationships with my patients. I'm well versed in treating a variety of diagnosis, however I believe its important to view people not as diagnoses but as complex individuals with their own unique stories.

In my approach to treatment, I seamlessly integrate medication management and psychotherapy. Drawing on my knowledge of psychiatric medications, I tailor interventions to meet the specific needs and preferences of each individual. Simultaneously, I recognize the transformative power of psychotherapeutic modalities in fostering mental and emotional wellbeing.

I received my undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001 and my masters degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. I have worked in both outpatient psychiatric clinics as well as in assisted and long term care facilities. In my time as a PMHNP, I have precepted other graduate students, presented at national conferences, and been a guest lecturer for graduate school.
